Concord & 9th – Free Hand Watercolor

Hello everyone,

I haven’t been making cards as much because I recently moved into a new apartment. I’m almost done cleaning up and I have new stamps and dies to play with so I’ll be back to “posting two posts per week” goal.

Today, I have an easy hand watercolored flower card using watercolor and wildflower stamp set from Concord&9th. This is the easiest and quickest card you can make because it is that easy 🙂

03

First, I stamped some flower images from the Concord&9th onto a watercolor card stock. I like to outline everything by stamping first and then going in with watercolor. Always when you are doing watercolor, don’t forget to use water resistant ink (Versamark Onyx Ink).

Because the stamp set didn’t have leaf images that I wanted, I ended up just grabbing a black ink pen and drawing it myself 🙂

Once watercolor was done, I glued the sentiment, “Thank You” onto the right bottom corner of the card.

To complete this card, I added some Nuvo Jewel Drop in Sea Breeze. I love this especially in the sea breeze color because it really looks like water drops. This is very easy and fun card so you should definitely try 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today.
